Bio
I employ quantitative approaches to investigate how the biophysical properties of microbes contribute to shaping their ecological interactions. I am particularly interested in the process of bacterial attachment to phytoplankton. I investigate its underlying mechanisms, its ecological dynamics, its regulation and how this interaction mechanism affects bacterial and phytoplankton physiology.
